don’t stress the brand you buy at the store. just by placing this round block of cheese in the oven is going to bring your dish from a 5 to a 10 easily! this dish is a great option for a shared appetizer or if you’re just seeking that warm factor on your cold charcuterie board. feel free to pair it with your favorite crackers when dipping on in. personally i like to serve baked brie with garlic crostini bites and drizzle honey on top of the brie for that extra wow factor.

how to make this recipe:

Just pop a brie in the oven for 15 minutes. but if you’re feeling extra lazy pop it in the microwave for 2 minutes.

I wasn’t joking when I said you just throw a brie in the oven. But here’s a practical visual for how to make it.

  • What to bake it in – use a round, shallow oven proof dish that’s a bit larger than the brie for baking and serving if you have one. It needs to be shallow, otherwise it’s hard to dip/scoop without touching the hot dish.

chef tips:

  • top the baked brie with honey, balsamic vinegar or maple syrup

  • serve with pita bread, crackers or garlic crostini

  • garnish with a sprig of thyme

  • don’t forget the fruits and veggies on the side
