a gentle reminder to myself

if you would have told me how this year would have went a year ago, i would of laughed. this time last year i had everything lined up, or so i thought. but if i’m being honest, i’m very happy with the outcome. i don’t think i would have had anything like the opportunities nor experiences if things worked out as planned. i thought i’d share some photos that best represent this past years travels. it truly was a privilege to have had the opportunities to not only cook at but visit. from aspen/colorado, boston/Massachusetts, miami beach/florida, poconos/pennsylvania. topsail beach/north carolina, and of course, manhattan & southhampton/new york. this new year, my only resolution is to not compare myself to others. we’re all on our own path and however we get there is our own journey (as corny as that sounds)
